Cake with custard Ingredients
- 530g wheat flour
- 280g sugar
- 330g butter
- 260 ml of carbonated water
- 1 l milk
- 80g semolina
- 40g cornstarch
- 4 eggs
- 2g vanilla
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- peel 1 lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- cinnamon
Preparation
- Let's start with the test. It is worth noting that you can buy ready-made phyllo dough in the store - a traditional dough of Greek cuisine, but since you decided to cook everything yourself, this recipe is perfect. So, mix 500 g of flour, 80 g of sugar and salt, pour soda and dough into the mixture. The water must be heavily carbonated.

With a sharp knife, mark the cake on portions, without cutting the dough to the end. On top of the cake, grease the remaining butter, having previously melted it. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees to ruddy color. Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Cut into portions - and you can serve on the table!
