The skill of making homemade buns and cakes

I also want to talk about how I use this dough to make buns and homemade bread. Baking is obtained with a thin, crispy crust, for which we will need glaze.

Glaze ingredients
  • 6g fresh yeast
  • 2/3 tbsp sugar
  • 35 ml of warm water
  • pinch
  • half-tbsp vegetable oil
  • 50g rice flour


Cooking buns
  1. Carefully mix sugar, yeast, salt, butter and rice flour. Add warm water and continue to interfere: you should get a glaze, similar to homemade sour cream. If the mixture is too thick, you can dilute with water.



  2. The finished mass is left to infuse for 20 minutes. Bread products should be well soaked with ready-made glaze. We use a silicone brush for this, carefully smearing before baking.



  3. Stavim. scones baked for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. I recommend leaving bread with water for the first 10 minutes of baking. For buns, I use water until the very end of cooking. This is necessary in order to give baking a crispy, golden crust.
