- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 1.5 tbsp starch
- pinch
- vanillin
- ground-cinnamon
Preparation
- First, set aside 50 grams of butter and 4 tablespoons of sugar. They'll be useful for the test. To prepare the filling in a convenient container, mix 150 grams of oil (can be replaced with margarine), starch and sugar. Stir it up carefully.
- To prepare the dough in a deep bowl, pour warm milk and add yeast, a pinch of salt, sugar (which we set aside at the beginning). Stir everything well until all the ingredients are completely dissolved.
- In the liquid mixture add a pinch of vanillin, 2 eggs, 50 grams of melted butter or margarine. Gradually add flour.
- Mix the dough thoroughly. It should be soft and elastic.
- The working surface is sprinkled with flour a little, roll the dough with a finger thick. Sprinkle the dough with cinnamon on top. Cream is more convenient to apply with a fork. Before starting work, it is better to divide the dough into 2 equal parts and as many parts of the cream.
- Roll the dough into a roll (not very tightly so that the buns have somewhere to go up). Cut the roll into pieces.
- Move the buns to the pot slices down at a short distance from each other. Cover the buns with a napkin and wait until they increase in volume. It won’t take more than an hour, but you can stay longer.
- Put the buns in a preheated 180 degrees oven. They are prepared no more than 15 minutes.
- That's it, French cinnamon buns are ready. Bon appetit!
