Pomegranate cake-jelly with berries



Recipe: Cake-a jelly from the berries

- What can I make from berries? Over the summer, tried almost everything: pies and berry ice cream, berry fillings and toppings, sauces, smoothies and cocktails. Not to mention the kilos of delicious fresh berries that we love to consume without cooking. What about berries in jelly? Yes, and with whipped cream? It will be very tasty even with frozen berries!

Ingredients

whipped cream (for serving) to taste
pomegranate juice 2 cups
gelatin 2 tbsp
brown sugar 1/3 Cup
lemon juice (fresh squeezed) 1 tbsp
berries (to your taste) 5 cups

Rinse fresh berries or thaw frozen. Put in the form that will be your dessert. You can take a decorative mold or small cups. Would be nice!

In a small container pour the gelatin with a half Cup of pomegranate juice. Leave on for 5 minutes.

In a saucepan pour the brown sugar and pour another half Cup of pomegranate juice. Heat the pan on medium-high heat until sugar is dissolved.

Remove the pan from heat, add dissolved gelatin in the juice, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Stir to dissolve gelatin. Finally, add the remaining Cup of pomegranate juice and mix again.

Pour the berry juice in the form of... And gently press on them so immersed in the juice. Cover with clingfilm and place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours (and 2 days). Before serving whip the cream.

So it will be better! To extract the cake from the mold without loss, gently Pat the edges with a sharp knife, separating the jelly from the pot. Then, immerse the dishes for 5 seconds in hot water.
Carefully turn over the dish on the dish and gently shake out that the cake fell. Cut into portions and serve with cream.
