Recipe for holiday cake with cottage cheese

This recipe came to us from Western Ukraine, where all sweets of this type are a sonorous name "dancer". Delicious cottage cheese pastry No exception, it has its own interesting name "Whisper nuns". Why the cake received such a name is now probably unknown, but I think that the reason may be as follows: a certain nun, having tasted, could not stand and whispered: “Lord, how delicious!”

But the fact that we are now going to share with you the recipe for a magic cake, not a joke for sure. You will have to sweat a little, so carefully write down and carefully prepare the components.





Cake cheese with pastries Ingredients for the first test
  • 150g flour
  • 75g oil
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder for dough
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder


Ingredients for the second test
  • 100g flour
  • 100g butter
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder for dough
  • 4 egg yolks


Ingredients for cottage cheese crust
  • 400g cottage cheese
  • 200g sour cream
  • 150g powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 packs of vanilla pudding
  • vanilla essence


Pudding ingredients
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 packs of vanilla pudding
  • 1 pack of raspberry (or other jelly)
  • 100g butter
  • 1 pack of chocolate glaze
  • 2 packets of pastry sprinkling


Preparation
  1. Start with the first test. Beat the softened oil with powdered sugar, alternately add the yolk and egg. Without stopping whipping, add flour with baking powder and vanilla sugar. Divide the dough in two. Put one of them in a form covered with baking paper, and straighten with hands lubricated with vegetable oil. Send to the oven for 15-20 minutes before the appearance of gold. The temperature is 180 degrees Celsius.



  2. Add to the second part of the cocoa dough, mix well, wrap in food film and send to the refrigerator. To give taste contrast, you can add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough.



  3. The second dough is prepared like this. Blow the mixer softened butter with powdered sugar, add one yolk. Slowly add flour with baking powder, it is better not to turn off the mixer. Put the dough in a baking mold on buttered paper, then send to the oven for half an hour, the temperature is 180 degrees Celsius. The finished biscuit should cool.



  4. It's time to cook the curd mass. Separate the yolks from the proteins, whip with cottage cheese, powdered sugar, sour cream and vanilla pudding. You can add a little vanilla essence, we leave it to your discretion. Beat the squirrels to thick foam and gradually add to the curd mass.



  5. Go back to the baking uniform. Put the finished cake from the first test on paper, distribute the curd mass on top. Take out the part of the cocoa from the refrigerator, roll it into sausages, cut them into small pieces and immerse them in a curd mass. Put it back in the oven, 50 minutes, 170 degrees. When you take out the finished cake, be sure to let it cool.



  6. Now it's time to make the cream. Dilute the remaining pudding in one third of a glass of cold milk, add the sugar to the other part of the milk and bring it to a boil. Pour diluted pudding into the hot milk. Keep cooking and stirring until thickened. Transfer the pudding to another container, cover with food film so that it touches the surface, let it cool to room temperature.



  7. Pour the jelly with a third glass of hot water and stir until completely dissolved. Let it also cool to room temperature. Beat the oil with a mixer and gradually add the pudding and then the jelly. Keep whipping it to a state of pomp. Evenly lay the cream on the cooled cake with cottage cheese, cover with biscuit from the second dough and send the almost ready “dancer” for a few hours to the refrigerator.



  8. Final step. Heat the chocolate icing according to the instructions on the package and evenly spread it on the cake. You can decorate the glaze with your favorite decorative powder or write a greeting. It's up to you, too. When the glaze freezes, the “dancer” can be served on the table. Bon appetit!
