Recipe of cottage cheese snails without oil and without yeast

The ingredients
  • 360g cottage cheese
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3/4 tsp soda
  • 3-4 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour


Preparation
  1. Separate from the mass of cottage cheese about a quarter, put aside. Put the rest of the cottage cheese in a bowl, add yolks and 1-2 tbsp of sugar (the rest of the sugar will go to the filling).


  2. Rub the cottage cheese with yolks to a homogeneous mass. Add soda (do not quench it, it will make cottage cheese). Stir and let stand for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add flour to the curd mass. Sprinkle a little with a spoon. When it becomes difficult to interfere, knead the dough with your hands. Flour may be required more or less depending on the consistency and fat content of cottage cheese.
  4. Ready dough roll into a ball and put in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours.


  5. Remove the chilled dough from the refrigerator, sprinkle it with flour and roll it into a layer 3-5 mm thick.

  6. Smear half the dough with previously deposited cottage cheese. If the cottage cheese is not very soft, you can add a spoonful of sour cream, milk or even water to it, grind in a separate cup and then apply it to the dough. On top of the cottage cheese mound 1-2 tbsp. l of sugar.
  7. Second half of the test, cover the filling.
  8. Tight roll.
  9. Cut the roll into pieces 1-2 cm thick.


  10. If desired, drop future buns on one side in sugar.
  11. Put the snails on the pan, covered with parchment paper, the sugar side up.


  12. Bake in an oven heated to 200 degrees 15-20 minutes.
