Apple cake ingredients
  • 1 kg of apples
  • 180g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 200g butter for dough and 200g for cream
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour in cream
  • 390g flour in dough
  • 0.5 tsp soda
  • 1 tbsp 9% vinegar
  • 1 bag of vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation
  1. Peel and chop the apple with thin slices.


  2. Add to a pan with a thick bottom 3-4 tablespoons of water, sliced apples and 2-3 tablespoons of sugar on top.


  3. Cover the pan with a lid, put on a strong fire, bring to a boil and tome the apples for another 15 minutes on the smallest fire. Then put it in another container and let it cool.
  4. In the meantime, prepare the cream. Beat the eggs with a mixer, add all the sugar and whip for another 2 minutes. After that, add 2 tablespoons of flour and all the milk, stir.


  5. Put the cream container on the water bath. Stir the cream with a wreath from time to time until it thickens. It took me 20 minutes to do that.
  6. Let the cream cool, and then start whipping butter and add a little cream to it.
  7. Pour the excess liquid off the apples. Add cinnamon.
  8. Rub the flour and half the butter. Add sour cream and vinegar-extinguished soda. Mix the dough, cover it with food film and let lie down for 5 minutes.
  9. Divide the dough into 9 equal parts. Roll each part into a rectangle of 20 x 15 centimeters.

  10. Place an apple filling on one side of the dough, leaving room at the edges. Cover the filling with the other side of the test. Put your fingers on the edge.


  11. Transfer all the workpieces to a pan covered with parchment paper, and send to the oven heated to 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.


  12. Let the finished envelopes cool and put them on a dish where you will collect the cake.
  13. Put the first layer of three envelopes and lubricate on top with cream, then the second and finally the third layer. Apply the cream on your sides and send it to the refrigerator for 3-5 hours.


  14. Decorate with ground nuts.
