How to make pastiles from apples

The essence of the method is that apples are mashed, then poured into a thin layer and dried. A thin plastic sheet comes out, which is twisted into a roll and stored in the refrigerator indefinitely. How to Make Pastilas from Apple Ingredients
  • 1.5 kg of apples
  • 300g sugar
  • 50 ml of water


Preparation
  1. Wash the apples, cut each into 4 pieces and remove the core. At the bottom of a large pan, pour 50 ml of water and put apples in it.



  2. Cover the pan with a lid, put it on a slow fire and bring the apples to a boil. Fruits should steam and soften.



  3. Remove the lid from the pan and continue cooking for another 10 minutes, stirring until the puree thickens slightly. Add sugar and using a submersible blender grind the mass to a state of uniformity.



  4. Heat the oven to 70 degrees. Cover the batter with silicone mat, foil or parchment paper. Grease the surface with vegetable oil. Pour the mashed pan into a 1cm thick layer and level with a spatula.



  5. Sushi mashed in the oven for 6-8 hours, until the surface becomes almost dry, glossy and hard.
