Meat cake recipe with vegetables

Meat cake ingredients
  • 1kg beef
  • 2 l of water
  • 100g smoked brisket
  • 200-300g cauliflower
  • 300–350g of broccoli
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 bulbs
  • 25g gelatin
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • bay-leaf
  • greens, peppers and salt to taste

Preparation
  1. Pour the beef with 2 liters of water. Bring to a boil and boil over a slow heat for 1.5 hours. Do not add water in the process to get a rich broth for pouring.


  2. After that, add smoked brisket, a couple of pepper peas, greens, carrots, whole heads of peeled onions, salt. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for another hour.
  3. Add the bay leaf, wait 15 minutes and take the pan off the fire.
  4. Take the meat with noise in a separate bowl. Give him time to cool down. We don't need the rest of the broth.
  5. Strain the broth. Pour 150 ml of broth into a separate bowl and let it cool to room temperature. Add gelatin to the cooled broth, stir and leave for the time indicated on the package.


  6. Take broccoli and cauliflower into inflorescences.

  7. Boil cauliflower in boiling water for 5-7 minutes, broccoli - 10 minutes.
  8. Cut the cold meat finely. Peel and crush the garlic with a knife.
  9. Melt frozen broth with gelatin in a water bath, preventing heating to bubbles (boiling). Add it to the rest of the broth.
  10. Start collecting. meatcake. Cover the shape with food film or foil. Put meat on its bottom, then garlic, cauliflower inflorescences and place broccoli inflorescences between them.


  11. Pour the snack cake with broth so as to cover only a layer of meat. After that, send the dish for 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.


  12. Take it out of the fridge, pour the remaining broth to the top and leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours, or better for the night.
