The worm is added to the soup

Oddly enough, flour is often used in the process of making soups. Sometimes it serves as a regular thickener in the composition of the milk mixture for cream soup, and sometimes it is a full-fledged ingredient. Therefore, soup with flour is quite a popular dish in many countries. In Georgia, it is known as Chihirtma.

We have this dish called much simpler and more understandable – “Trump”. This name was given to him for a reason. It's all about cooking flour and eggs.

In recent years, I have been able to discover many useful and budget-friendly first courses. But none of them will replace the signature granny soup “Zatiruha”, the recipe of which I was lucky to learn as a child.



Today's edition. "Site" I am happy to share this recipe with you, dear reader. We will tell you how to prepare a delicious soup in just half an hour, having at hand a minimum set of basic products.

Soup with flour Ingredients
  • 1 large bulb
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 250g flour
  • green
  • salt
  • chili
  • 40g butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil


  1. First, clean all the vegetables and wash them well. Put a pot of water on the fire, cut the potatoes into small cubes and send them to cook.



  2. Then cut the bulb into small cubes and rub the carrots with a small straw on the grater. Next, paint butter in a heated pan, add vegetable oil, and then roast it on crushed vegetables.





  3. After that, you can proceed to the manufacture of flour flakes. Pour some of the flour into a deep bowl, salt it and drive an egg into it. Then mix the ingredients just with your hands, and when the mixture becomes denser, start rubbing it with your fingers. If necessary, add a little more flour. The result should be small flour flakes, as in the photo. Before sending them to the pan, be sure to shake off the excess flour by pouring flakes on a sieve.





  4. When the potatoes are ready, pour roast and flour flakes into the pan. Add the spices to taste and cook the soup for another 5 minutes.





In the end, it remains only to decorate the soup with finely chopped greens and pour in the bowls of the waiting dinner of the household.
