When you first see the Zebra in the cut, it amazes with its appearance. I can’t believe you can make such beauty at home. However, zebra pie in the oven is even easier than most of your favorite pastries.



The composition of the striped cake includes the most common products, the most exotic of which is cocoa powder.



And its preparation will not take much time. Unless, of course, you get too carried away with drawing intricate patterns from dark and light dough, like I did.

Zebra pie in the oven "Site" collected a collection of recipes "Zebra" for every taste: sour cream, kefir, milk, mineral water and generally without ingredients of animal origin.

Classic pie "Zebra" on sour cream

The ingredients
  • 200g sour cream
  • 250g flour
  • 360g sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder


Preparation
  1. Rub the butter and 180 grams of sugar.
  2. Beat the eggs with the remaining sugar.
  3. Add the oil mixture to the egg and mix thoroughly.
  4. Mix sour cream with baking powder.
  5. Couple the sour cream with the egg-oil mixture.
  6. Add to the resulting mass sifted flour, mix.
  7. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Put one aside and mix the other with cocoa powder.
  8. Lubricate the baking mould with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  9. Put in the center of the form 2 tablespoons of dough of light color. Let it spread. In the center of the light dough, put two spoons of dark color. Wait again until it spreads a little.
  10. Alternate layers of dough until it's over. Ideally, you will have a set of concentric circles from a dark and light dough. Now you can arm yourself with a toothpick and imagination to complement the pattern with radial elements to your taste.
  11. Bake the cake for about 45 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  12. On top of the cake can be poured with black or white melted chocolate. Or two at once, repeating the striped pattern.


Zebra cake on milk

The ingredients
  • 260g flour
  • 240 ml of milk
  • 240 ml of vegetable oil
  • 200g sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder


Preparation
  1. Mix flour, vanillin and baking powder. Beat an egg with sugar in a separate container.
  2. Pour milk and butter into the egg mixture. Whip, gradually pouring flour, to a homogeneous consistency.
  3. Divide the dough in two. Add cocoa to one of them and mix well.
  4. Cover the bottom of the mold with paper and oil.
  5. Alternately lay out the dark and light dough in the form to form a pattern.
  6. Cook the cake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Ready cake at will can be decorated with nuts or grated chocolate.

Zebra pie on kefir

The ingredients
  • 220ml kefir
  • 100g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 190g flour
  • 0.75 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • pinch


Preparation
  1. Make a mix of vanilla sugar and salt.
  2. Keep whipping with one egg each.
  3. Combine the flour and the soda.
  4. Pour a third of the flour into the egg-oil mixture. Pour half the kefir at room temperature and beat. Add the remaining flour and kefir.
  5. Divide the dough in half. Add cocoa to one of them and mix well.
  6. Put parchment on the bottom of the mold.
  7. Alternately lay out the dark and light dough in the form to form a pattern.
  8. Send the cake to the oven heated to 170 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
  9. The Zebra pie in the oven is ready. Bon appetit!


Zebra cake in butter and milk

The ingredients
  • 290 ml of milk
  • 200g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 380g flour
  • 200g and 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • some vanilla sugar


Preparation
  1. Hit the mixer soft butter and 200g of sugar.
  2. One at a time, enter the eggs, add vanilla sugar.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Pour some flour into the egg-oil mixture and stir.
  4. Slowly enter by stirring the remaining flour and 240 ml of milk.
  5. Divide the dough in half. Mix cocoa, 50 ml of milk and a tablespoon of sugar with one part of the dough.
  6. Cover the mold with parchment and oil.
  7. Alternately lay out the dark and light dough in the form to form stripes.
  8. Send the form to the heated to 180 degrees oven for 50-60 minutes.


Zebra Pie on the mineral water

The ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 200g sugar
  • 120 ml of vegetable oil
  • 200g flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 120 ml of carbonated water
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp regular water
  • some vanilla extract


Preparation
  1. Hit the egg with a mixer. Sugar, vanilla extract, butter. Get the mixer again.
  2. Mix flour and baking powder. Soak some of the flour in the egg mixture and stir. Pour some carbonated water and stir again. Alternately inject the remaining flour and water.
  3. Make a paste of cocoa and regular hot water. Divide the dough in half and inject the resulting paste into one part.
  4. Cover the mold with parchment and oil. Alternately lay out dark and light dough in the form to form a beautiful pattern.
  5. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 35 minutes.


Zebra biscuit pie

The ingredients
  • 200g flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 200g sugar
  • 4 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • vanillin


Preparation
  1. Separate the proteins from the yolks.
  2. Beat the squirrels with a mixer before foaming.
  3. Keep whipping, add sugar and vanillin. Add the yolks in a minute.
  4. In the resulting foam gradually add and stir with a spoonful of flour.
  5. Divide the dough in two.
  6. Leave one as is and add cocoa to the other.
  7. In the form lubricated with vegetable oil, lay out the dough, alternating dark and light to get a “zebra”.
  8. Send for 30 minutes into the oven, heated to 200 degrees.


Vegan Zebra Pie

The ingredients
  • 310g flour
  • 4.5 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp soy flour (optional)
  • 175g of sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp soda
  • 300 ml and 4-5 tbsp. l of vegetable milk
  • 160 ml of vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • lemon
  • pinch
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • a handful of nuts and 3 tbsp of vegetable milk for decoration


Preparation
  1. Combine the two flours, starch, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
  2. Make a depression in the center. Pour there 300 ml of vegetable milk, add butter, vanilla, lemon juice and finely grated lemon peel.
  3. Stir to a uniform consistency. Divide the dough into two equal parts. In one of them pour the rest of the milk and add cocoa. Stir it.
  4. Oil the baking mold and sprinkle it with flour. Alternately lay out the dark and light dough in the form to form a pattern.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes.
  6. Make it icing. To do this, sprinkle chocolate in a water bath and mix with vegetable milk. Cover the cake with icing and sprinkle with chopped nuts.

As you can see, cooking a Zebra pie in the oven is not at all difficult. It’s hard not to eat everything cooked in one sitting!
