Lecho without vinegar and oil for the winter





Such pickled peppers in tomato sauce — a great snack, which is suitable to many dishes, and due to the lack of vinegar, it can give and children.

Composition:

3 kg of tomatoes (preferably meaty)

1 kg of sweet pepper

1 tbsp coarse salt

3 tbsp. sugar

greens

spices (to your taste, e.g. black pepper, allspice, cloves, Bay leaf etc.)

garlic (optional, 6 or more cloves)

Recipe Lecho without vinegar for winter:Cut 1.5 kg of tomatoes (half of total). Cut pieces of bell pepper.

Fold the tomatoes and pepper in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes.

Cut the remaining tomatoes and add to the pot. Cook for another 15 minutes.

Herbs (dried Basil, about 2 tablespoons, you can add parsley or something on your taste) and garlic (if using), chop and add to dishes. Also put salt, sugar and spices. Stir and boil for another 5 minutes.

Ready to expand Lecho in sterilized dry (steamed or in the oven) hot banks, roll boiled metal lids.
