How to prepare tahina

Tahina (or tahini, tahini) is a paste made from sesame seeds, which is very often used for preparation of Oriental dishes. It's completely meatless/vegan dish very easy to prepare.

Of course, tahina, you can buy ready-made at the store or in the Eastern benches on the market, but it is better to cook it yourself — that sesame seeds have retained as many beneficial vitamins and minerals, because it is one of the leading calcium content. Moreover, it is so easy and fast!





Ingredients:

  • seed white sesame raw — 1 Cup
  • vegetable oil (sesame or olive odourless) — about 1/2 Cup.
 Preparation:

1. Grind sesame seeds in a coffee grinder (maybe it's better to do a few passes).

2. First, when the grinding work to the flour.

3. But then sesame will be allocated to the oil and the mixture turns into a homogeneous "hard" pasta.

4. Pour the resulting paste into blender (or container for immersion blender).

5. Add the flour of sesame seeds 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

6. To turn on the blender and mix the mass until smooth and creamy.

7. If the blender it doesn't "take" (that is, the weight sticks and does not turn into a homogeneous cream) — add 2 more tablespoons butter. And so until you get a positive result.

8. When beating (even more mixing-grinding) tahina a little warm. Pour it in a glass bowl, cover and put in refrigerator to cool.
