I've never tasted such a lush, holey biscuit before! The main ingredient is boiling water, you need to add immediately before...

I never got the right biscuit. I tried dozens of recipes, even persuaded my husband to buy a new harvester! A dream to make perfect cake Slowly rolled into the abyss, but suddenly came across an unusual recipe.

There's nothing to lose, I've been defeated so many times that another one won't affect my culinary ability. Of particular interest in the new recipe was an unusual ingredient - boiling water. And a miracle happened! The cakes turned out to be so airy and soft that before I had time to smear them with cream and form a cake, my family ate it in one sitting!

In order to prepare cakes, you will need a very simple set of products. It is better to use a mixer for stirring, I don't know if the dough will rise if it is whipped with a regular corolla. The first time I made biscuits in the oven, but later tried to bake in a multicooker, it turned out excellent in both cases!

The ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp superior flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1.5 tsp soda
  • 1/2 tsp citric acid
  • 1 tbsp boiling water

Instead of vanilla sugar, you can use vanilla extract, citric acid can be replaced with lemon juice, but you need to add it at the very end. Be sure to use both soda and baking powder. If you take one baking soda, the dough will have a soapy taste, if one baking powder - will not rise well.

Preparation
  1. Turn on the oven before cooking, it must be heated to 200 degrees. Prepare the form in advance, cover it with parchment and in no case lubricate the edges, otherwise the crust will not be smooth, but a slide.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, add milk and butter to them and keep whipping for a few more seconds.

  4. Turn on the kettle, it will boil while you mix the dry and liquid mixture. Liquid components pour very carefully, without stopping to mix.

  5. You have to make a very thick and viscous dough, which is not easy to mix even with a mixer. It happens that the flour is not enough, in this case add a few spoons, if at this stage the dough is liquid.
  6. Now it's interesting! Without turning off the mixer, pour a glass of boiling water into the dough. Keep whipping fast. If you use lemon juice, it’s time to add it.

  7. The dough should be moderately liquid and slowly drain from the mixer. Move it to the prepared form as quickly as possible and quickly into the hot oven!

  8. Now reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake the cake for an hour and a half. Don't open the oven door this whole time.
  9. After an hour and a half, check the readiness with a wooden stick. If it is dry, then everything is fine - take out, if it is wet and with the remains of liquid dough - hold the cakes in the oven a little longer. Let the finished cake cool right in the form.
  10. Sometimes it turns out that the dough cracks or rises with a slide. It's okay, it doesn't affect the taste. Uneven top can be cut and eaten with tea, and the cake is built of even parts.

  11. The last thing is to cut the cakes into even parts and lubricate with any cream.

Chocolate on boiling water cake It turns out very soft and airy. As a cream, you can use whipped sour cream with sugar or cream, condensed butter or classic oil cream. For the latter option, cakes need to be additionally soaked with sweet syrup.

Between the layers without fear lay the cherry or sliced banana. If on top of the cake pour chocolate icing and original decorate, you will get a beautiful festive dessert.

For the multicooker Prepare "Chocolate on boiling water" in a multicooker Even easier than the oven! The ingredients and cooking method are exactly the same as described above, but there are a few secrets.

  1. Do not mix the dough in the bowl or lubricate it with oil.
  2. Set the "Bake" mode (180 degrees) and bake the cake for 60-80 minutes, check the readiness with a wooden stick.
  3. When the biscuit is completely baked, lay it out on a grille or on any shape with holes. They will create additional ventilation, which will allow the baking to not accumulate condensation.

To biscuit well baked and turned out without a hat, seal the detachable form foil-coat. Put a wet towel on the foil and cover it with another sheet. Put a small rectangle, the height of which is equal to the height of the shape. You can roll a roller out of a towel and wrap it in a uniform. Then wrap the mold with another foil sheet that will hold the towel.
