Recipe cake with cottage cheese and sour cream

Kyrma (Kyvyrma) is a Gagauz national dish, namely: a cake made of fine dough with salted cottage cheese, abundantly watered with sour cream. Hence the popular name "Kaymakly Platinta", which translates as "sourcake".

Bake a chirma from an extraction dough or fine lavash. The dish is far from dietary, but easy to prepare, hearty and, like all Gagauz pastries, very tasty.

Fast cake with cheese ingredients
  • 300g fine lavash (3 sheets)
  • 500g cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 200g green onion
  • 1 bundle of dill
  • salt

Filling ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 500ml cream
  • 300 ml of milk
  • salt

Preparation
  1. Cut the greens finely.

  2. Mix all the ingredients for filling: eggs, salted cottage cheese and sliced greens.
  3. For pouring, mix eggs, milk and sour cream. Hit it with a fork. The most delicious kyrma is obtained from home fatty sour cream. When baking, sour cream impregnates thin layers of dough.

  4. Put the lavash on the table. On half the sheet distribute 1/3 of the filling.
  5. Cover the other half of the lavash.
  6. Collect the lavash with harmonica. Cut the pieces up the width of the bait. Repeat the whole procedure with the remaining lavash sheets.

  7. Spread the kyrma on the oil-oiled baking pan.
  8. Pour the top. If the batter has low sides, then increase them with baking paper so that the filling does not pour out during baking.

  9. Bake at a temperature of 210 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
  10. The cake is ready when it is brewed from above and below.

  11. Cool it, cut it into portion pieces and serve it to the table.
  12. Gagauz cheesecake ready. Bon appetit!
