How to make an apple pie with a crispy crust

The ingredients
  • 60g flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 90 ml of milk
  • 1 tbsp cognac
  • 15g baking powder
  • 3 apples
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp almonds
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 50g butter


Preparation
  1. Mix the dry ingredients: sifted flour, 70 g of sugar and baking powder.
  2. Beat 2 eggs with a wreath and stir with flour. Put the milk in there.



  3. Add vegetable oil and cognac to the dough if desired. Hit the mass with a wreath before bubbles form.
  4. Peel the apples off the peels and seeds. Be sure to cut the apples with thin plates so that a delicate texture of the cake is formed during baking.



  5. Lubricate the mould for baking with butter and sprinkle the bottom with flour.
  6. Pour the dough into a baking mold with a diameter of 20-24 cm. Then put the apples in a mold, they should sort of soak up the dough.



  7. In an oven heated to 200 degrees, bake the cake for 30 minutes.
  8. Separately prepare a crispy crust: beat the egg with sugar and butter before foaming.



  9. Take the hot cake out of the oven and pour it with an egg mixture, and sprinkle almonds and sugar on the top of the cake. Almonds can be replaced with coconut shavings.
  10. Next, bake the cake at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes. A fragrant and delicate cake for tea is ready. Oddly enough, but the cake is better served cold, so it will taste even better.
