The ingredients
  • 2 eggplant
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 0.5 tsp hop-suneli
  • 1 tooth. Garlic
  • 100g mozzarella or suluguni cheese
  • pinch
  • salt
  • dill


Preparation
  1. Eggplant wash and cut into circles about 1 centimeter thick. Pour the eggplant with salt and leave it for 15 minutes.



  2. Roast eggplant on both sides in a hot pan with vegetable oil. Put it on a paper towel to absorb the excess fat.



  3. For the sauce, mix mayonnaise with sour cream, add crushed garlic and greens. Also spices: red pepper, salt and hops-suneli. Personally, I depart a little from this recipe and instead of red pepper I add smoked paprika, and instead of hops-suneli – Provencal herbs. But that, as they say, is for the amateur. Stir the sauce well until uniform.



  4. Cut tomatoes with rings or semi-rings so that they are approximately the same size as eggplant, about 0.5 centimeters thick. Form for baking or deco lubricated with vegetable oil. Put out a circle of eggplant, grease it with sauce, put a tomato on it and lubricate it with sauce lightly, with residues on a spoon. In this sequence, fan out all the vegetables. Bake in a preheated to 200 degrees oven for 7 minutes.





  5. Take the vegetables out of the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese is brown.



  6. Let the vegetables cool a little, and then serve to the table. Bon appetit!
