How to make onion soup ingredients
- 8-10 bulbs
- 1/2 white cabbage
- 100 ml of vegetable oil
- 1 large carrot
- 1 liter of water
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 bay leaf
- pepper-pea
- salt
- chili
- tuft
- 1 lemon
Preparation
- All vegetables must be prepared first. Free the onions from the husks and cut them into small cubes. Next, cut the cabbage with a thin straw, and then peel and soak the carrots on a large grater.
- Next, take a pot with a thick bottom, pour vegetable oil into it and put it on the fire. In the heated oil pour crushed onions and roast it until it begins to slightly gold. To roast the onions should be on a slow fire, constantly stirring it. This will allow you to get rid of the bitterness contained in it.
- Then pour water into the pot and bring it to a boil, increasing the fire to medium. In boiling water add carrots, bay leaf, salt, as well as spices to taste. Then wait until the soup boils again and cover the pan with a lid. Reduce the fire and leave the soup to boil for another 10-15 minutes.
- Next, warm up a little vegetable oil in the pan, pour flour into it and roast it for 2-3 minutes on a slow heat, constantly stirring. Add flour to the finished soup, stir the ingredients and let the dish brew for a few minutes (5-7, no more).
Meanwhile, grind the dill and squeeze the lemon juice into a small deepened container.
