Vegetarian diet— the transformation of the week

The modern world has split into two camps – those who can not live without meat, hundreds of millions of passionate supporters of vegetarianism.Paul McCartney, brad pitt, Pamela Anderson and even boxer Mike Tyson advocating abandonment of eating meat in favor of a variety of vegetable delicacies. Right, as often happens, both sides.

If you think to give up meat you will not succeed – not necessarily even desirable to do it forever. Just try seven day vegetarian diet and make conclusions. The result will be perfect health, glowing skin and minus 3-4 pounds. And all this in exactly one week!

Day 1Завтрак – buckwheat with celery, tea without sugar

Recipe buckwheat porridge (two servings): 0.5 glass of buckwheat, 4 stalks of celery, parsley and cilantro to taste, half lemon, 1 tsp olive oil soy sauce to taste

Cereal boil, add chopped greens, sliced celery and stir. Season with olive oil, soy sauce and lemon juice

Lunch – Ratatouille

Ratatouille recipe (for two servings): 1 eggplant, 1 zucchini, 1 yellow and 1 red bell pepper, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tomatoes, 1 tsp olive oil, herbs, salt, spices

Onions, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini and eggplant cut into cubes. Eggplant sprinkle with salt and leave for 10 minutes to let the juice, rinse in water and squeeze. In hot oil fry the onion, add eggplant, peppers, zucchini, chopped garlic, sauté 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt, spices and simmer until tender. At the end of cooking, sprinkle with chopped greens.

Afternoon snack – 50 g of hazelnuts, a Cup of yogurt

Dinner – salad with celery and Chinese cabbage (150 g cabbage, 2-3 stalks of celery, half a green Apple)

Day 2

Breakfast – 100 g of olives, 50 g of hard cheese, tea without sugar

Lunch – gazpacho

Gazpacho recipe (for two portions): 1 large tomato, 1 bell pepper, 2 large cucumber, 1 red onion, 1 heaped tablespoon of tomato paste, garlic, salt, pepper and Apple cider vinegar to taste, cold mineral water, ice

All the ingredients coarsely chop and grind in a blender into a puree. Add cold water to desired consistency of soup, spices and ice cubes.

Snack – smoothie "Tenderness"

Recipe smoothie: 1 banana, 1 pear, 1 stalk celery, 1 glass of mineral water without gas. Mix all ingredients, chop with an immersion blender

Dinner – cheese salad with cucumber (150 g cottage cheese, 1 cucumber, fresh herbs and a pinch of dried oregano)

Day 3Завтрак – juicy and nutritious carrot salad, tea without sugar

Salad recipe: 1 carrot, 1 Apple, 1 orange, 50 g raisins, 50 g of any nuts (or nut mix), 1 tsp. honey, ground cinnamon to taste

Carrot and Apple grate, orange cut into halves, one to squeeze the juice, and the second peel and cut the flesh into cubes. Mix the Apple, carrot, orange, raisins and nuts, season with orange juice, honey and cinnamon

Lunch – baked soup-puree of cauliflower

The recipe for the soup (for two servings): 400 g of inflorescences of cauliflower, 1 onion, 100 grams of Parmesan (or other cheese), 1 tsp olive oil, garlic, salt and ground nutmeg to taste

In a saucepan fry the chopped onion and garlic. Cauliflower boil for 5-7 minutes, place in a saucepan with the onion, add a little broth from the cauliflower and simmer until tender. Season with salt, add nutmeg and grind all in the blender to puree. Pour into heatproof bowls, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and place in oven for 5 minutes at 180°C. Serve this soup to the table without pre-baking, just sprinkle with grated cheese.

Afternoon tea – a refreshing cucumber lemonade "Fit"

Lemonade recipe: half a lime, 1 cucumber, half an orange, 2 tsp honey, 1 tbsp. of cold water. Cucumber water grind immersion blender, add the lime juice, honey and stir

Dinner – Indian salad with ginger

Salad recipe (for two portions): 2 cucumbers, 2 bell pepper, 0,5 tsp caraway seeds, 2 cm ginger root, coriander, 0.5 tsp. olive oil

Cucumbers and peppers cut into cubes, cilantro, chopped, ginger RUB on a small grater, to mix the products. Fill with oil and sprinkle with cumin

Day 4 Breakfast – oatmeal with milk, no butter or sugar, tea without sugar

Lunch – soup "Tarator"

Soup recipe (for two portions): 500 ml of yogurt or kefir, 4 cucumber, 50 g low-fat sour cream, 100 g walnuts, 2 tbsp olive oil, garlic, dill, pepper and salt to taste, chilled mineral water without gas

Yogurt mix with sour cream until smooth, add the mineral water to the desired thickness of soup. Add the chopped dill, olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped garlic, sliced cucumbers, mix

Snack – crispbread with cottage cheese

Recipe: 2 bread, 2 tbsp cottage cheese, half of a soft ripe avocado, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp milk, ground black pepper and salt to taste, 1 teaspoon of hulled sunflower seeds (preferably raw), dill to taste

Avocado mashed with a fork and sprinkle with lemon juice so that the mixture is not dark. Mix cottage cheese with milk, add pepper, salt and chopped dill. On the bread spread some cheese, top with avocado and sprinkle with sunflower seeds

Dinner – green salad spinach

Salad recipe: handful of fresh spinach, 2 tbsp lime or lemon juice, 2 tbsp walnuts, garlic and soy sauce to taste

Spinach washed, scalded with boiling water, dry and place on a plate. For dressing mix the lime juice, soy sauce, chopped walnuts and pressed garlic. Fill received sauce spinach leaves

Day 5Завтрак – 4-5 plums with 3 tbsp cottage cheese, tea without sugar

Lunch – bright orange soup

Soup recipe (for two servings): 100 g red lentils, 1 onion, 1 carrot, garlic to taste, 1 red bell pepper, garlic, coriander, cumin (Jeera), turmeric and chives to taste

The lentils, cover with water, bring to boil, remove the foam and add chopped onion. To cook under a lid for 15-20 minutes. Then add the grated carrots, chopped pepper and cook until the vegetables become soft. Pour in the pan chopped greens, spices, bring to boil and remove from heat

Snack – smoothie "Minty coolness" with strawberries

Recipe smoothie: 7-10 strawberries (fresh or frozen) 250 ml orange juice, 100 ml of yogurt, 1 banana, mint leaves to taste

All the ingredients are folded into a blender and grind

Dinner – salad of red cabbage with Apple (150 g of cabbage, 1 Apple, 0.5 tsp. olive oil, a few drops of Apple cider vinegar)

Day 6Завтрак – half a soft avocado with bread, tea without sugar

Lunch – vegetable soup without potatoes and cereals

Afternoon tea – baked nectarines with cottage cheese

Recipe nectarines 2 nectarines, 80 g of cottage cheese (can use ricotta), 2 tsp lemon peel, cloves and fresh mint to taste

Mix cottage cheese with chopped mint and lemon zest. Nectarines cut in half and remove the bone. Put the cheese mass on the nectarines, sprinkle the ground cloves. Preheat the oven to 180°C and put the nectarines for 7-10 minutes

Dinner – salad of cabbage and cucumbers (200 g of cabbage, 1 cucumber, a few drops of vinegar and soy sauce to taste)

And don't forget to prepare the almonds for an afternoon snack tomorrow (read menu 7 days)!

Day 7Завтрак – oatmeal, no butter, an Apple and tea without sugar

Lunch – seaweed salad with egg filling (150 g of seaweed, 2 eggs, green onion)

Afternoon tea – cocktail "Flavors of the East"

Cocktail recipe: 250 ml water 50 g almonds, 3-4 pitted dates, cinnamon and mint leaves to taste

Almonds soak overnight in water. Before preparing the cocktail rinse the nuts and grind in a blender with a glass of water. Strain the stock through a sieve or cheesecloth, add the mint leaves, dates and again blend with a blender. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon

Dinner – vegetable salad with cheese and herbs

Salad recipe (for two servings): 2 tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 80 g of cheese feta, 1 tsp olive oil, cilantro (green), mint, black pepper and salt to taste

Tomatoes, cucumber and feta into cubes. Herbs to break up with your hands and add to salad bowl. Season the salad with oil and spices. Mix
