The most common method, which now uses unscrupulous manufacturers in order to fake dairy products – replacement of milk fat with cheaper vegetable. This allows them to considerably reduce their production costs. And deceiving the consumers: after all, according to the Technical regulation "On safety of milk and dairy products" neither in the cheese nor butter, nor milk, nor cheese — vegetable fat can not be in principle!

Only possible to use in dairy products vegetable fat on legal grounds – be sure to specify in the marking. And the name of such products should be appropriate: the oil becomes a spread, cheese and cheese product.

Another of those systemic disorders that we have identified in dairy products, the addition of starch in the cheese and sour cream stabilizers. Which is also prohibited in the Technical regulations. In milk, butter revealed the presence of preservatives. All of these ingredients on the label of the goods provided, of course, was not.

Also more than 10% of the tested dairy products had serious violations in the labeling: introduced consumer confusion regarding the names or properties of the products. This "pseudobetckea" products with cartoon characters for children is not suitable, and spreads, mimicking the butter, and the tiny letters on the labels to read that without a magnifying glass is simply impossible.

Impunity in the industry

In addition to the above new technologies, into the hands of unscrupulous manufacturers play and the fact that their activity is not restricted. Penalties for fraud are minimal, and supervision by the state is clearly insufficient.
