Why do we need greens?

But how often do you consume greens? I suppose that at best sometimes in salads, yes, as a decoration of dishes. And all because greens have a rather rigid fibrous structure and you need to make considerable efforts to chew it well. But thanks to progress, we now have kitchen assistants that in a matter of minutes will turn greenery into a more accessible form for us.

Diversity of green vitamins

Greens do not mean green vegetables (although they are useful), but “grass” – salads of different varieties, sorrel, dill, parsley, celery, spinach, mint, as well as any wild and not very edible greens – beets and carrots, dandelion leaves, plantain, linden, nap, nettle, swan, etc. – the greater the variety, the better!
Method of making a cocktail

Green cocktail is prepared from any edible “grass”, water and fruits / berries (fresh or frozen), or vegetables. The ratio of fruits and greens is about 60 to 40. Recipes can be very diverse, the only one, in order to avoid undesirable effects, it is better not to mix fruits with starchy vegetables. The green can be combined with anything. To make a cocktail, all the ingredients must be mixed in a blender. Usually I first pour the greens with water, grind, and then add fruit to the resulting bright green puree.

Despite the unusual green color, these cocktails are very tasty, they are loved by adults and children. In addition to the overall health benefits, green cocktails help to cure many diseases, normalize weight. Cocktails give a feeling of satiety for a long time and without heaviness in the stomach. Thus, 1 liter of a cocktail can perfectly replace breakfast and of course a snack. Green cocktails are easy to make at home if you have a blender. It is desirable that your blender has a power of at least 1000 watts. Then your cocktail will have a nice creamy consistency.

Green cocktail recipes

For example, I will give a few recipes, but do not limit yourself to them, try new combinations, experiment!

P.S. You can use the cocktail both independently and 40 minutes before and 40 minutes after eating. Types of greenery be sure to alternate, ideally every day a new species for a week.

• 2 cups of romaine salad;

• 1 cup of beet top;
• 1 cup of Beijing cabbage;
• 0.5 cups of horsetail;
• 1 cup of plums;
1 banana;
• 4 kiwis;
2 cups of water.

Double green cocktail
1 bundle of dandelion leaves;
• 1 bundle of fresh parsley;
• 1 cup of fresh blueberries;
1 pear;
• 3 cups of water.
