Sesame-flax crackers





In crackers thanks to its components rich in calcium, protein and healthy fats for the body. Serve soups, salads or sauces.
Did You know that sesame seeds are MORE CALCIUM? More than cheese and much more than milk?

  • 470 ml of flax seeds (you can buy in the pharmacy)
  • 470 ml sesame seeds (preferably dark brown sesame seeds, light)
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic (optional)
  • 1-2 tsp sea salt
Soak flax seed in 940 ml of water. The flax seed will absorb most, or all of the water. In the processor, a blender, a coffee grinder grind half of the sesame seeds to flour. Set aside.

Grind the soaked flax seed and garlic several times. If necessary, add a little water. The flax seed into flour grind is not necessary.

Mix ground sesame seeds, flax seeds, whole sesame seeds and sea salt in a large bowl with wet hands. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on non-stick surfaces. This can be a nonstick Mat, parchment paper, Teflon baking sheet. Stamp the mixture with wet hands, a spatula, using plastic wrap, etc.

Further drying at a low temperature (ideal for the preservation of nutrients is not higher than 45 C). At this temperature you will need 12-20 hours. The higher the temperature, the less time for drying.

Then remove from the substrate, cut into squares, triangles, rhombuses. Then continue drying until crispy.

Store in a cool, dry place, also in the refrigerator. published
