Drying Cabinet for vegetables with solar air collector
Here is another version of the creation of the solar drying for fruits and vegetables from Maxim Babayev. He made her from what was found in the yard of his grandmother as a prototype solar drying with air aerator Solar Thunder X5 RS Turbo.
The advantage of this dehydrator is that here attached solar air collector, where it is heated air that enters through the lower vents. The heated air rises up through the frame on which the drying of fruits and vegetables, and exits through the top vent.
In fact, the air manifold is just a box, the bottom of which is laid insulation (mineral wool or sawdust), and on top of the insulation is laid a sheet of thin metal (playing the role of absorber), painted black heat-resistant paint. Top of box covered with glass.
So take a glass window with a thickness of about 3 mm in size 74х44 cm and the metal sheet 0,8 mm.
Make a wooden box for the aerator and insulated it with glass wool. On top of the aluminum film.
For sealing joints between frame and glass paving conventional rubber window seal.
Glass fastened with metal strips and wooden planks, with nails nailed to the frame. All painted with black paint.
