Great Lent 2017: a convenient calendar of food for every day.
February 27 begins the Great Lent. Food and nutrition are important during fasting, but not key! After all, people observe fasting for the purification of the soul first, and only then - the body.
To be kinder, not to be offended, not to be angry, to be condescending to others’ weaknesses and patient is the main task during fasting. Properly composed lean diet will help you to withstand all 40 days without suffering from a lack of familiar products!
Lent 2017 B monday It is accepted to completely abstain from food. The rest of the time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - dry eating (water, bread, fruits, vegetables, compotes); Tuesday, Thursday - hot food without oil; Saturday, Sunday - food with vegetable oil.

Week 7 of Lent
Fish are allowed on the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin (April 7) and Palm Sunday (April 9, 2017). In Lazarev Saturday (in 2016, April 8), fish caviar is allowed. On Good Friday (in 2016, April 14), you can not eat food before taking out the shroud.
