Researchers from the University of Birmingham conducted a study, which involved obese persons.All the participants were divided into two groups. The first group was asked to drink 500 ml of still water for half an hour before meals (3 times day). The second group had to present before meals that their stomach is already full and they don't want to eat. No additional requirements for participants in the experiment were not!
The results of the study are as follows. The first group lost an average 4.5 pounds in 12 weeks. The weight of the participants of the second group have not changed significantly.
