Salmon tartare in an Asian style

Perhaps the most famous culinary tradition to eat fish in its raw form comes from the land of the rising sun: sushi, sashimi, Maki, that's all. Not surprisingly, quite a European origin fish tartare so tempted to cook in the Asian style, too flawless combination of raw salmon with ginger, cilantro, soy sauce and other ingredients typical for South East Asia (however, if it is not sweet, then here's a classic recipe for salmon tartare). In General, as always, our motto today – fast, simple and very tasty.

Salmon tartare in an Asian style





Ingredients:

2 servings

for Tartar:

200 g salmon fillet

1 avocado

1 pen green onions

2-3 sprigs of cilantro

1 tsp grated ginger

for the filling:

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp juice of lime or lemon

if desired – 1/2 tsp. hot sauce

Remove salmon bones, which may still be there, cut away the skin and cut the fish cubes with sides of about 0.5 cm, cut the Avocado in half, remove the stone, peel and cut into slightly smaller cubes and add to salmon. There also send thinly sliced green onions, chopped cilantro and grated ginger. Separately mix all the seasoning ingredients (to sesame oil, soy sauce and juice of lime or lemon you can add a few drops of any hot sauce – Tabasco, Sriracha, Chile and so on) and whisk with a fork until smooth.

Pour all the ingredients of the tartare dressing and mix well, then put the tartare in the fridge for 10 minutes. Spoon the salmon tartare on the plates with a cooking ring, or serve it in a wide and low transparent glasses, garnish with herbs and sesame seeds.published
