How to cook French ONION SOUP GRATIN

Ingredients:

  • Shallots 200 gr.
  • Olive oil 20 gr.,
  • Butter 20 gr.,
  • Flour 20 gr.,
  • White wine 20 gr.,
  • Black pepper 10 oz.,
  • Bay leaf 1 piece
  • Thyme (Thyme) 1 sprig,
  • Rosemary 1 sprig,
  • Soft cream cheese 40 gr,
  • Emmental cheese 20 gr.
  • Baguette




Preparation:

 

 

1. Shallots cut into small strips and fry in a mixture of olive oil and butter until soft.

2. Then add the flour, pour the white wine and bring to the consistency of the broth with thyme and rosemary.

3. Baguette cut and dry or fry in a dry pan.





4. Before serving, thicken with soft cheese, pour into a plate and top the entire surface of the soup to close out the croutons from a baguette.

5. Sprinkle with grated cheese and sear burner until crisp.
