Not rubbery and very lush: cheesecakes with a mysterious additive that will settle in your kitchen

Today we will prepare unusual cheesecakes with baking powder. Not even cheesecakes, but cottage cheese sticks. Roasted and sprinkled with sugar, they turn out lush and surprisingly soft.



My teenage son said it was like doughnuts, only much better. And the cottage cheese in the dough is almost not felt. Here is advice for parents of small pickers. Does your child not want to eat regular cheese? Let him taste our cheese sticks!

Cheese with baking powder Ingredients
  • 200g cottage cheese
  • 150g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 10g baking powder
  • 70g sugar
  • pinch
  • 10g vanillin
  • vegetable-oil


Preparation
  1. Pair a pack of cottage cheese with egg and sugar. Add a bag of vanillin. Mix the mass to uniformity.


  2. In a separate dish, mix flour with baking powder.
  3. Now add flour parts to the curd mass and stir the dough. It should be soft and not very sticky.


  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Put them in knobs.


  5. Every blob rolls into a sausage.
  6. Cut the sausages in portion pieces about 5 cm long. I, for example, got 12 sticks out of this number. Also note that the pan dough with baking powder will increase in volume. Therefore, making chopsticks too thick is not worth it.
  7. With a knife, give the pieces a triangular cross-sectional shape.


  8. Heat the vegetable oil in the pan. Prepare a plate of sugar in advance, where you will drop sticks in sugar.
  9. Roast the cheesecakes to rosy on each side. Keep in mind that they darken very quickly. Therefore, you need to cook on a small fire and not be distracted by anything extraneous.


  10. Put roasted sticks on a paper towel to get rid of excess fat. Then drop in the sugar. Melted sugar creates a sweet coating on the surface. And drying it turns into a sweet crust.


  11. The result is crispy outside and tender inside cheesecakes with air, like doughnuts. This is the perfect addition to morning coffee and a simple dessert for a hearty afternoon snack.
