Lush cakes that combine the taste of cottage cheese cookies and juicy cherry filling

Today we will tell you how to make our favorite cakes with cherries in the oven. In winter and cold autumn, such homemade pastries are perfect for hot tea or coffee. And in hot weather, cakes will serve as a great addition to the summer compote. Ingredients for them need only the simplest, even a child copes with cooking, and the result will pleasantly surprise not only the appetizing appearance, but also the wonderful taste.



Cherry cakes in the oven Ingredients for dough
  • 250g cottage cheese
  • 300g flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 100 ml of vegetable oil
  • 10g baking powder
  • 10g vanilla sugar
  • powder


Filling ingredients
  • 400g cherry
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 50 ml of water
  • 2 tbsp sugar


Preparation
  1. Put frozen cherries and sugar in the sauté. Put it on the fire so that the cherries melt and the sugar dissolve.
  2. Dilute the starch in the water and add the starch liquid to the berries. Stir and boil until the mixture thickens. Then move the filling to another dish and let it cool to room temperature.


  3. Mix in a large bowl to homogeneity cottage cheese, egg, sugar, baking powder, vegetable oil and vanilla sugar.


  4. Add parts of the flour to mix soft and elastic dough.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 parts.


  6. Roll each into a sausage and divide into three more parts.
  7. Every piece rolls into a cake. Put a spoonful of stuffing on top and pinch the edges. Due to the fact that there is starch in the filling, it will not leak.


  8. Put the cakes seam down on the baking paper pan.
  9. Smear all the cakes on top with yolk.


  10. Send to the oven heated to 180 degrees until the cakes roar.
