To prepare fried cakes with mushrooms, you do not need to mess with the dough for a long time and wait until it fits. In this recipe, cottage cheese is used as the basis. However, the dish itself does not lose in comparison with its classic version. I'm sure you like it!
Test ingredients
- 250g cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 200g wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp soda
Filling ingredients
- 500g champignon
- 1 bulb
- 60g melted cheese
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt and spice
- vegetable-oil
Preparation
- First thing, let's do the stuffing. To do this, clean and cut the onion with a cube. Roast it in vegetable oil until golden. Grind the mushrooms and roast them in a dry pan until all the liquid evaporates. Then add to them onions and pre-chopped melted cheese.
- Reduce the fire to a minimum and tome the filling on the stove until the cheese melts. Don't forget to stir mushrooms with onions. At the end, salt the filling and add spices to taste. Black pepper will be enough, but you can experiment.
- While the filling is cooling, prepare the cheese dough for the cakes. To do this, grind the cottage cheese with a submersible blender or wipe it through a sieve. Add eggs to the curd, as well as salt and sugar. Stir it up carefully.
- Then, put it in a sliver and add soda. Mixed with elastic dough. Then divide it into 16 identical parts. From each roll a flatbread with a thickness of not more than 3 mm. Put a little stuffing on the center of each cake and pinch it in a cake.
- Put a frying pan with vegetable oil on it. It should be enough to cover the cakes to the middle. Put the cakes in the pan with the seam down. Roast all the cakes to a ruddy state on both sides.
- Finished cakes put on paper towels so that they absorb excess fat. Serve the dish along with fresh sour cream sauce. Fingers are good!
Fried cakes with mushrooms: the editorial advice The beauty of this dish is that the filling for it can be used by any. The main thing is to prepare it in advance, as it is better not to put anything raw in such cakes. The same meat, for example, simply does not cook while the cakes are fried.
