Kulich on milk Ingredients
- 400g wheat flour
- 180 ml of milk
- 50 g butter (room temperature)
- 20g yeast
- tablespoon
- spoonful of dill (or other herbs)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- chicken-egg
Filling ingredients
- 100g sausage
- 100g hard cheese
- 30g olives
Glaze ingredients
- chicken-egg
- pinch
Preparation
- In warm milk (no more than 38 degrees), add sugar, yeast and 50 g of flour. Stir it. Cover the steam and leave it warm for 20-30 minutes to increase in volume.
- Meanwhile, break the oil with a wreath or a mixer, add an egg and salts. Note that the egg should be room temperature, not just from the refrigerator.
- Combine the oparo and egg mixture, mix it. Add vegetable oil and dill. Ask for flour here (may need a little more than originally stated).
- Mix the soft dough. It shouldn't stick to your hands. Round it, put it in a bowl, cover it, and leave it in a warm place for an hour.
- For filling on a large grater sod hard cheese, cut the sausage with cubes. As for olives, they should be cut and laid out on a paper towel to get rid of unnecessary liquid. Add the filling to the dough and stir it.
- Paint the shape with vegetable oil. Spread the dough into shapes and leave it warm to rise.
- Mix the chicken egg (also at room temperature) with a pinch of salt and beat with a fork. Grease the top of the cakes. Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Check your readiness with a wooden sword.
