Delicious, and most importantly, light desserts made of apples are deservedly popular among our housewives. Each family has its favorite recipes: charlottes, rolls, pies, casseroles ... And I suggest that you include apple straws in this list.





Small, literally one bite, they can nevertheless be a source of great pleasure. After all, the combination of crispy dough and filling of apples in caramel will not leave indifferent any real sweet tooth.

Apple straws Ingredients for filling
  • 4 apples
  • 200g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • lemon peel (optional)


Ingredients for tubes
  • 125g butter
  • 630g flour
  • 125g vegetable oil
  • 125g kefir
  • 75g powdered sugar
  • 10g vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp starch
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 egg


Preparation
  1. Peel the apples, remove the core. It is better to choose juicy apples of sour varieties.
  2. Rub the flesh of the apples on a large grater. If desired, add lemon peel to the apples.


  3. Heat the pan, put grated apples and sugar on it. If the apples are sweet, I would take a third less sugar than indicated. But who likes it better? Stir the apples to let the juice in. Heat on a small heat for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Then take the apples off the fire, add cinnamon, stir again and let it cool.
  5. In the meantime, take the test. Mix in a large bowl soft butter, vegetable oil, kefir, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, starch and turmeric.


  6. Stir it to uniformity.


  7. Then beat the egg and, adding parts of flour, knead soft dough. Turmeric, as you can see, gives the finished dough a rich cheerful color.


  8. Put the dough in a ball. Separate small pieces from it and roll them into chestnut-sized balls.
  9. Roll each ball into an oblong cake. Its width should be slightly more than drew a teaspoon. And the length is 2-3.5 times longer.
  10. Distribute a teaspoon of filling over the surface of the cake.


  11. Put it in a straw. Repeat the procedure with all the cakes.
  12. Put the straws on the pan, covering it in front of this baking paper.


  13. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the tubes in it for about 30 minutes.
