My dad's quite friendly with appliances and even afraid of all these newfangled gadgets. And once I went with him to a strange village, taking with him the Navigator. Of course, I told dad about this miracle of technology, but he never to this day his eyes have not seen. But the Navigator he liked dad constantly repeating "thank you" in response to the instructions of the male voice in the Navigator.
