Susan Jebb, who heads the Department dealing with the study of problems of obesity and diet in a research centre for the study of man, reports: the juice — not the best option for those who want to be healthy.
British researchers actually call to remove fruit juice from the list of recommended foods. The point is that the juice and smoothie contains so much sugar that they can be compared with harmful sweet fizzy drinks. And it's not just the quantity but also the quality of sugar — it is absorbed almost instantly once ingested.
