A simple gingerbread recipe from Jamie Oliver

Recipe of new year cakes from Jamie Oliver. Children will sotory not so much of the gingerbread as from the cooking process. Make a variety of homemade cakes – you and your kids will love the time spent together in the kitchen!

  • 300 g of wheat flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp ground ginger
    ½ Tsp ground cinnamon
    ½ Tsp grated nutmeg
    125 g unsalted butter
    100 g brown sugar
    3 tbsp syrup/honey
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. , the baking vystelit baking paper.
In a large bowl mix flour, soda and spices.

2. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup (or honey) in a saucepan over low heat.
When the sugar has dissolved, add to dry ingredients.
Knead the dough.

Cut on 2 parts. 3. Each piece of dough to put on a sheet of baking paper to roll out 5 mm thick.

 





 

To cut the figures directly on the paper.

Remove the excess dough, leaving a gap of 2 cm between the figures.

4. Bake gingerbread in the oven for about 12 minutes, until the gingerbread is not Pozolotina.

5. Ready to leave the gingerbread on the baking sheet for a few minutes – if you are going to use it as a decoration on the Christmas tree, you now need to skewer pierce a hole for the ribbon.





Leave it to cool down.

6. Prepare the glaze and decorate the cakes to your taste and color.
