Podorozhniy chyudovische!
Sedna came across prastorah tyrneta - ohuel!
This monster was built by William Gelbke (William «Wild Bill» Gelbke) in the 60 years of the 20th century.
By education William was air-engineer and has worked on such other giants as Hughes and Grumman. But since all his life he had a craving for motorcycles, in the early 60s, he leaves his job in California and moved to
Chicago, where he opened a motorcycle shop.
At the beginning of 1962, he set about creating this bike. The frame was made of aluminum, 2.4 liter engine from the car Chevrolet Nova II. Both wheels were fitted with disc brakes on the Corvette.
The entire unit will receive about 1.5 tons, and since conventional stand is not suitable for this design, William made four hydraulic supports - two in front and two behind, which are controlled by the driver. A similar hydraulics can now be found on the BMW K1200LT.
For three years Roadog was finished in 1965 and was ready for operation.
Since this bike built for William travel, then immediately after completion he traveled across America, hitting about 30 thousand kilometers.
Turning radius - 33 meters!
He was the only person who could manage Roadog.
