- 250 ml of milk
- 500g flour
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 100g sugar
- 60g butter

- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Preparation
- First, warm the milk slightly, and then dissolve the yeast and salt in it. Add sugar to the milk and beat the egg, then mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Add to the resulting mixture flour and soft butter. Mix the dough with a spoon. When the dough thickens, lay it on the flour-sprinkled working surface and continue to mix with your hands.
- Then place the dough in a clean deep bowl, cover with food film and send to a warm place for an hour and a half.
- While you wait for the dough to rise, you can do the filling. Mix in a bowl of cottage cheese with egg, sour cream and sugar until you get a homogeneous mass. After that, add the corn starch and mix it up again. To make the filling more tender and airy, you can also beat it with a mixer for two minutes.
At the end of cooking, cover the filling with food film and send it to the refrigerator.
- When the dough rises, it will need to be rolled into a layer with a diameter of 30 cm. Shift the resulting layer on parchment paper, level the edges of the dough, and then make small incisions at the edges (about 1 cm wide and 3 cm long). From the segments of the dough braided pigtail, throwing them through one over each other.
- Now you need to move the finished base of the cake to the pan, cover it with food film and leave it for 15 minutes at room temperature.
