I decided to visit my daughter-in-law at 10 a.m., I almost lost my speech from what I saw.

It so happened that many people like to tell young mothers what to do on maternity leave and how to do everything. Especially mothers and mothers-in-law of new parents like to talk about this. The woman, in their opinion, needs not only to have time to monitor the child, but also to manage the household, engage in self-development and even occasionally save the world. A similar story has happened in our history today.

Editorial "Site" She shares a story in which a worried mother-in-law decided to visit her daughter-in-law. Recorded from the words of her mother-in-law.

My son and wife live separately. They took out a mortgage on their home a couple of years ago. The son works to provide for them, and the daughter-in-law is on maternity leave. Their oldest 5 and youngest daughter 3. My daughter-in-law is constantly complaining that she does not have enough time. She does some chores, but often she can't even cook dinner. He says kids don't.

I don't know if she's doing anything in the yard. They have a small plot and a small piece of land. We could at least grow some flowers. But she doesn't even think about it. It's good that my son took the time to sow greenery. At least some good. And Nastya, my daughter-in-law, has no time for anything. I was surprised, but I didn’t get into their lives.

My son didn't complain about anything. He goes to work and still takes part-time jobs in the evenings, so that there is something to pay a mortgage and support his family. He doesn't ask us for money. But I was always kind of bitter that he comes after work and still gets up to the stove to cook himself dinner. I even took my children to my house from time to time so that my daughter-in-law could do something around the house, but the situation did not change.

A couple of days ago, I was in their area, finished everything early and decided to visit my daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Imagine, I come in at 10 a.m. and she's still asleep. She came out to me wrapped in a blanket, asleep and said, I slept still. I walked in and it was a mess. There's a mountain of unwashed dishes in the kitchen. There's nothing in the refrigerator. The kids play themselves, they haven't had breakfast yet. And she's asleep.

Peels I have a speech taken away from that. I spent some time with my grandchildren and went home. Of course, she does not have time if she sleeps before noon. And I woke her up again. Who knows how long she sleeps. I don’t know if I should say anything to my son. I don't want to get into their relationship, but I can't either. It's not fair that she's cheating on him and he's working for two. What do I do?

We think that in this situation the mother-in-law is completely wrong. She burst in uninvited early in the morning, saw the woman sleeping once, and drew conclusions about her entire life. It's easy to judge a mother and say she's not doing anything. But caring for children takes a lot of strength: physical and moral. The mother-in-law does not know what period the daughter-in-law is going through and what she is going through.

We think that Nastya and her husband will figure out how to live for them. And the daughter-in-law herself will decide what to do in the decree and how to manage her time. What do you think about that?
