The ingredients for this recipe are designed for one large hearty portion. Keep that in mind if you're going to cook for the whole family. The easiest way is to boil potatoes and eggs in advance. And then quickly cook okroshka half an hour before serving. This time will be enough for you.

The ingredients
  • 1 potato
  • 1 fresh cucumber
  • 5-6 large shrimp
  • 1 egg
  • 300ml kefir
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 20g green onion
  • green
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • citric acid
  • garlic


Preparation
  1. Boil potatoes and eggs in advance. Then peel the potatoes and cut the vegetable with a small cube. Do the same with an egg and a fresh cucumber. The skin of the cucumber can not be removed. Place the cut ingredients in a deep bowl in which you will serve the dish.



  2. Grind the green onions and greens. The original recipe for this dish uses dill. But you can also add parsley if you love it more. Don’t be afraid to experiment with taste.



  3. Add to the bowl kefir, as well as salt, black ground pepper, dried garlic and citric acid to taste. Stir it up carefully. Instead of citric acid, you can use fresh lemon juice.



  4. Roast until the shrimp is ready in vegetable oil. If you use small shrimp, safely take more than 5 pieces. During frying, you can add spices to seafood at your discretion.
  5. Decorate the finished okroshka with shrimp and greens. The dish is ready to serve!

In this version of okroshka it can be filled not only with kefir. For example, as a refill perfectly suitable ordinary sour cream in combination with mineral water. For 70-100 ml of soda, only 2 tbsp. l of sour cream is enough. Choose a product with a high percentage of fat.
