No store dumplings can compare to the taste of homemade. But there is always not enough time for them. Can this process be accelerated without sacrificing taste? Large dumplings Ingredients for the test
  • 1300g flour
  • 500 ml of water
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt


Filling ingredients
  • 1500g mincemeat
  • 500g onions
  • 2.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp black ground pepper
  • 150 ml of water


Ingredients for cooking and frying
  • 3 liters of water
  • 0.5 tbsp salt
  • 200 ml of vegetable oil


Preparation
  1. Pour the warm water into the flour.


  2. Add salt, eggs and butter. Mix the dough.


  3. Divide it into 4 parts and let lie down for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, grind in a blender onions (can be grinded on a meat grinder).
  5. Mix minced meat, crushed onions, salt, pepper. Share water and stir until uniform. Cover the mince with film and let it stand for 10 minutes.


  6. Roll one of the parts of the dough into a sheet 1-2 mm thick.
  7. Cut the dough into strips wide in the palm and each strip into another 4 parts.
  8. Put two teaspoons of filling on each square of the dough.


  9. Make a triangular envelope with a filling inside of the dough, fill its edges, and then connect the "ears" together, as in the photo.


  10. Bring the water to a boil, put dumplings into it and boil for 5 minutes. Then cool it and let it dry a little.


  11. Heat in the butter and roast each dumpling for about 2 minutes on each side.


  12. Put the browned dumplings on a napkin to get rid of excess fat, and then serve to the table. More details about the recipe can be found at the link.
