  • 0.5 tbsp round rice
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 bulbs
  • 200ml cream
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • vegetable-oil
  • salt, spices
  • water


Preparation
  1. Soak chickpeas in water at night in a ratio of 1: 3. Then add the onion (but not necessarily) and grind in a blender, while gradually adding 50 ml of water. It is needed so that the gruel from the chickpeas does not turn dry.



  2. Cook rice. Add to the rice crushed chickpeas, salt and spices. Stir it all together. Do not forget to add water in the process of mixing, so that the mass is plastic, slightly thicker than sour cream. You'll need about half a glass of water, but a lot depends on chickpeas and rice.



  3. Warm up vegetable oil in a pan or pan. Form from the resulting mass of meatballs and dip into oil. You need to fry on medium heat. The finished balls will acquire a uniform golden hue. Take them out of the pan and place them in a plate lined with napkins so that they absorb the excess oil.



  4. In the meantime, make the sauce. Pour 1 tbsp vegetable oil on the pan and fry the sliced onions and carrots. Once the oil has evaporated, share 50 ml of water and continue stewing the vegetables until the onions are clear and the carrots are soft. Add the tomato paste and roast all together for another 1 minute, stirring constantly. Then add about 1 glass of water to the workpiece, mix, add salt and sugar to taste. Wait 2 minutes and add the cream, stir it up.




  5. Put the meatballs in the sauce, let them boil for 2 minutes in the sauce. Then turn off the fire, cover the pan with a lid and leave the dish for 10-15 minutes so that the meatballs are soaked in sauce.
