Although yellow ripe corn is suitable, it will just have to be cooked longer - about 1-1.5 hours. Also note that corn can be taken as much as you want. Just know that the specified amount of marinade is enough for about 4 half-liter jars.





Marinade ingredients
  • 1 liter of water
  • 30g salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp citric acid


Preparation
  1. Clean the corn from the leaves and break the cocks so that they fit into the pan. Do not forget to cut off spoiled places, because it is such bad grains that provoke the explosion of cans.



  2. Put the corn in a pan, fill it with water and boil it almost until it's ready. Corn is better to take young milk, in this case it will be cooked quickly (15-20 minutes). But yellow ripe corn needs cooking for 1-1.5 hours.



  3. Put boiled corn in a container with cold water. Let it cool and separate the grains - it's pretty easy to do. Fill corn with clean, sterilized jars.



  4. Now prepare the marinade. To do this, add salt, sugar and citric acid to the water, mix, put on fire, bring to a boil and boil for a couple of minutes.



  5. Fill the corn jars with finished marinade to the very top. Sterilize for 20-25 minutes and spin.



  6. Turn the finished jars over and let them cool. Store corn in a cool place, inaccessible to direct sunlight (cellar or storage room).
