My husband doesn’t give me money I got married at the age of 30. My parents gave me a good upbringing and education, so post-institution career advancement was not surprising. Of course, there were nuances, but nothing supernatural. Now I am a deputy manager with a good salary and a car from the company.
It's not bragging, it's just how I'd like to describe what lifestyle I'm used to. But don't think I'm eating black caviar with spoons. Excess is not mine at all.

It’s been a year since my husband and I were together. Despite the fact that he earns less than me, we somehow did not talk about money: we just agreed to tip off a certain amount on groceries and payment for an apartment. I think it was very comfortable and suited everyone.
But recently my husband decided that this could not continue. At first he offered, and then demanded to leave money with him, because “it will be more economical” and “love the account.” Says don't worry, I'll write it down (he's really meticulous) and you won't lose a penny.
Well, I did, I agreed. It was the worst week of my life! We went to the supermarket with him, and I picked up makeup, shampoos and other skin care products. The gentleman turned red, but he paid the bill. In the evening of the same day at home I said that I buy too expensive things and I do not need it. What I need is to learn to save.
I was so shocked that I didn’t even dare to contradict it. The evening passed in relative calm. But a couple of days ago my husband was late at work and asked me to buy groceries. The funds were deposited through an Internet bank. When I, already with a cart in my hands, saw these pennies, I did not even know what to spend them on.
You see, it was Friday night and we, traditionally, bought a lot of groceries. Plus all the goodies for the weekend, and so on. And now I had money with me except to fill up the car with gasoline and buy a few pounds of potatoes, that's it. The funny thing is that this is my money, I can afford a lot more!
In short, the conversation was hard. It's a scandal. Now we don't talk at all. All my money came back in cash. The husband does not talk at all, now went to look for a rented apartment, because he can not live with a woman, in his words, “infringing on his masculinity.” I'm not even going to apologize.
I forgot to tell you something else. His father is exactly the same in this regard. He did not earn much, although he worked all his life in the factory until he retired. And he made his wife give all the money to him, saying that it would be safer. I don’t know, I thought he was kind of chabalistic: for a lifetime to give his wife flowers only 2 (!) times and constantly call her “my grandmother”. It doesn't seem to bother her, though.
God be with them.
In short, I don't know what to do. Maybe my husband and I will make up for a while. Let's go. But I don't even want to think about him yet. And the most unpleasant thing is that to give a child to the upbringing of such a person, my character will not allow me. My children must have different moral qualities. I don't know what to do.
