How to prepare cakes with meat Ingredients for the test
  • 125 grams of butter
  • egg-white
  • 100 ml of vegetable oil (no smell)
  • 200ml yogurt
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 350 grams of flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder for dough

Filling ingredients
  • 360 grams of ground meat
  • 2 Bulgarian peppers
  • leek
  • green
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Preparation
  1. First we have to cook the mince. Grind 350 grams of meat together with one Bulgarian pepper and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Well knead the mince to a soft consistency.

  2. Stir dough from flour, butter and yogurt. In a small container we put 125 grams of butter, there we add 100 ml of vegetable, as well as one and a half spoonfuls of salt (to taste), 200 ml of natural yogurt and one egg white. With the help of corollaries, we knead the oil and whip the resulting mass.

  3. In a bowl with dough, add 350 grams of flour and 1.5 tsp. baking powder. Stir the ingredients until the dough is formed. You can also add a small amount of flour for dough elasticity. Well knead the mass with our hands and form a round cake.

Divide the dough into 12 even parts. Each part is rolled into a ball and laid out on a saucer. Then cover the balls and leave to cool for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, the onions are cut with rings, and the bundle of greens is finely crushed. We combine onions and greens with minced meat, cut another Bulgarian pepper and also add it to the meat.

Salim and minced pepper to taste, add 1 tbsp. l. tomato sauce and another 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. Carefully mix the ingredients with minced meat - form a filling. Then we roll the balls and make cakes out of them. Each cake is rolled into a pancake, and then make incisions, as shown in the photo below. The two opposite parts of the pancake are folded cross-over so that a “boat” is obtained.

Our “boats” are filled with filling and laid out on the bowl. Lubricate cakes with yolk with a special corolla. We send cakes to be baked in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees without convection for 25-30 minutes.

Now our Turkish cakes are ready. According to this recipe, they are saturated, very appetizing and crispy. They are good for lunch as a second course, but most likely they will already be disassembled without waiting for the borscht to cool. Try cooking, you won't regret it!
