Why bread tastes better when you break it

Any pastry from yeast dough always turns out to be airy, lush and very tasty. And a yeast bun with marmalade is not only a great addition to a cup of milk or tea, but also a real decoration of the table.





Yeast Bun Ingredients for Bun
  • 250g flour
  • 150 ml of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 yolk
  • 0.5 tsp yeast
  • 50g sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 60g butter
  • 400g marmalade
  • walnuts to taste


Glaze ingredients
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 30ml lemon juice


Preparation
  1. Pour warm milk into the bowl.
  2. Add the egg, sugar, salt and melted butter.


  3. Ask for flour and add yeast.
  4. Mix the smooth and uniform dough.
  5. Wrap it in food film and leave it in a warm place for 1.5 hours.


  6. Roll in a rectangular layer and divide into 2 equal parts.
  7. Evenly distribute on their surface finely sliced nuts and maremelade.


  8. Roll each piece with a roll. Plug the seam and roll the edges, making them thinner.
  9. Roll both rolls together, forming a tourniquet.


  10. Lubricate the oil form for baking and put the resulting blank there.
  11. Cover the form with film and leave for another hour to rise.
  12. Dilute the yolk in a tablespoon of milk and lubricate the dough on top.
  13. Bake 30-35 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.


  14. While the wicker is baked, prepare the sugar glaze. To do this, mix lemon juice and powdered sugar with a corolla until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
  15. Cover the pastry with the icing.
