Reality is complex, poorly adapted to our ideas. Our task is to try to synchronize everything to get an adequate result. And other people's mistakes will be a good help in this case. Let’s talk about private property and how it is used.
real-life.
There's an innate mentality at work here - everything and more. Therefore, even at the design stage, rooms appear in the future house, the feasibility of which is questionable. Editorial
"Site" I decided to make a small selection of rooms that are likely to be empty.
Homes in real life
- balcony
It’s an urban subject that can be hard to say goodbye to. Why do you need a balcony in a private house if you have a gazebo, flower bed and even a swimming pool? Maybe you'll go out for the first time, but within a month you'll realize that it's much more enjoyable to drink your morning coffee on a sun lounger in the yard. And the balcony will remain an unnecessary architectural form.
- mansard
I want to use the opportunity to the maximum, and therefore instead of the attic, people arrange an attic. Whatever it is, it means another lounge to organize. As practice shows, it rarely comes to this, and the attic itself is gradually clogged with all sorts of junk. For God's sake, it'd better be an attic!
- Living room
This is such a large room where all sorts of official receptions and other useful activities should take place. This may make sense when the space is limited and there is nowhere to go, but in a large house, everyone usually meets in the kitchen, or just sprawls around their corners and bedrooms. Well, maybe they'll watch TV once a year. New Year's Eve. The rest of the time, the living room is a museum. Homes in Real Life
- Dining room
Another room that is designed from the shoulder. Think about who's gonna bring the dishes back there? If she's a housekeeper, that's fine. But if it is, say, a wife, then running against the race will quickly tire her. Gradually, everyone moved to a cramped kitchen, the calculation was on the dining room! As a result, it is used only on a big holiday. And in summer, it's perfectly empty.
- Underground parking
As they say, not with our happiness. And not our climate. Imagine that snow falls all night, then rain, then snow again. The air temperature jumps the same way. In general, the car, which in the evening was "packed" in an underground garage, the next morning is no longer available. It can be corny to the knee. As a result, the parking becomes a cellar. And the car lives on the street under a canopy.
From the editorial board, these are the observations! Be sure to write in the comments, which of your rooms in a private house are now empty, and which are used in full. It may well be that we missed something. Then make sure to correct us, but only if you share your personal experience. Thank you in advance!
Homes in real life They are not being exploited in the way that they can in your head. It's just that there's an idyll, and in practice it all comes down a little bit to a compromise. We offer to get acquainted with the peasant way to insulate houses so that on the first floor you can easily run barefoot. We also wish you a good mood!
