How to maintain health during the New Year holidays?
Stay active!
At least 15 minutes of physical activity a day. Make a charge in the morning and evening, walk outside, walk to the subway and forget about the elevator at least for a while.
Avoid fast food!
Promise yourself to avoid fast food, sweets and fatty foods. Instead of junk food, enjoy more nutritious and tasty meals that are easy to cook at home. Also be careful with more coffee, cola and other caffeinated beverages as well as alcohol.
Try to stay away from buffet tables.
Always choose lower-calorie foods, with reduced fat and sugar, give up mayonnaise, ketchup and other sauces. Lean on fiber-rich salads from vegetables and fruits.
Plan everything in advance.
Before a festive dinner or party during the day, eat less, drink more clean water. Give yourself a promise to eat only one snack, one dessert, and most importantly choose a baked dish, grilled or steamed. Choose more vegetarian dishes.
