Spaghetti with spicy sauce of lentils — vegan recipe



Ingredients for 4 servings Морковь2 PCs.

Bulgarian перец1 PCs.

Лук1 PCs.

Чеснок3 cloves

Vegetable масло2 tbsp

Pureed помидоры500 ml.

Green чечевица1 glass

Паприка1/2 tsp.

Chili молотый2 tsp.

Apple уксус1 tbsp

Agave syrup (or honey)2 tsp.

Соль1 tsp.

Спагетти300 gr.

How to cook Peel 2 medium carrots, cut into small dice. Bulgarian pepper clear from the seeds, also cut into small dice. Crush 3 cloves of garlic. Cut into dice one small onion.

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Saute the onion on medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring from time to time.

Add the carrot, bell pepper, garlic and stir. Add 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 2 teaspoons (or less) ground chili pepper, 1 teaspoon of salt, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.

Pour the pureed pulp of tomatoes, Cup of water, 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of agave syrup. Bring to a boil.

Stir in the Cup rinsed green lentils, reduce the flame and cook under a cover on slow heat for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. At the end of cooking the lentils should absorb all the liquid. The sauce should be thick.

While preparing lentils, boil spaghetti, drain in a colander. Mix with the lentil sauce.
