Apple pie — recipe for vegan ice cream

Ingredients:

2 medium Apple
1 can (400 ml) coconut cream or coconut milk
1 stick cinnamon (or 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder)
3-5 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey)
pinch of sea salt





 

 

How to cook:

1. Preheat oven to 190C. Cut the apples and clean them from the middle with seeds. Bake the apples for 15-20 minutes, or longer until the apples were not slightly soft. Set aside to chill.

2. Pour in a saucepan the coconut cream (or coconut milk) and put in a cinnamon stick (or 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder). Nigrate milk but do not boil. Cover and leave to infuse for 30 minutes.

3. Place the apples in a blender and beat well. Add the coconut cream, salt and syrup (or honey), try the taste, you may want to make ice cream sweeter. Whisk all the ingredients until a homogeneous mass. Leave the resulting mass to stand for several hours or overnight.

4. Place the mixture in an ice cream maker and follow the instructions. Received ice cream place in the freezer for 2-3 hours or longer until complete freezing.

If you have no ice cream maker, you can freeze the mass in the container, stirring every 30 minutes with a spoon for 2-3 hours to completely freeze.
