Russian authorities over the last month have significantly increased military-technical assistance to the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad, Reuters reported, citing an anonymous source on its own.

According to him, in December last year, the military transport aircraft An-124 made dozens of flights to Syria, bringing back weapons, military equipment and various equipment. Among other things, the Syrians got armored vehicles, reconnaissance equipment, drones, electronic warfare systems, spare parts for helicopters and high-precision bombs.
